I know some of you parents out there are struggling to find the funding to pay for the expense of having a special needs child. Following are some fundraising ideas:
Newsletter Publishing- Mail a monthly letter updating your child's progress, special gifts and community recognition. People are very interested to hear good, positive news about your child's gains.
Rent a Booth in the Holiday Bazaar- Create cute craft items all year in anticipation of the major holiday bazaar. You can probably rent a booth at your annual church/temple holiday bazaar and use the profits to pay therapists/tutors/materials for your child.
Gift Basket Business- Develop a gift basket business in time for the holidays. Items to be placed in the gift basket could be from the local "dollar store.
